Printed Textbook and Study Guide: There
are two black-and-white versions of the text and their study
guides available here, a chemistry-first version (An
Introduction to Chemistry, Second Edition) and an
early-conversions version (An Introduction to Chemistry -
Early Conversions). When you
purchase any of these books, the use of the website is free.
The
chemistry-first version has a early emphasis on descriptions of the
structure of matter and the nature of chemical changes,
postponing the description of unit conversions and chemical
calculations. Although the early unit conversions version of the
text still has chemical changes described earlier than most
other texts for the same level of chemistry, it has the
